Why? Why isn't it getting a little warmer in Holland?? Yesterday evening we went to the birthday bash of Bastiaan Tentij in The Hague. And guess what...when we looked outside it was SNOWING. Our first thought was probably like yours: how strange in this time of the year. Our second thought: we have a trainingday tomorrow....brrrrrrr. So we treated ourselves with a drink for a little bit more courage.
Today we woke up early. Stuffed our bags with lots of warm clothing and took of to Muiderzand. And as we expected, it was very cold, about 3 degrees. Purpose of the training was 'speed'. After organizing ourselves in groupes, we were lining up and sailing all over the lake of Ijsselmeer in Holland. It was a very good day...but our hands, toes and noses were frozen when we came back.
Thanks 'Sail Today' for the tomato soup afterwards!!! It was delicious :).
